I work with families to create a service that truly reflects their loved one's personality, beliefs, and values. My goal is to help families find comfort and closure during this difficult time, and provide support to you and your loved ones.

What areas do you work in?

I primarily work in Orange County, but officiate ceremonies all over Southern California (and beyond!). I'm more than happy to discuss details if a bit of travel is needed for your ceremony. 

Can you customize the ceremony to include specific cultural or religious traditions?

Absolutely! I understand the importance of incorporating cultural and religious traditions into the ceremony. I will work closely with you to customize the ceremony to include any specific elements you desire.

About 

Stephen Pate is a pastor, speaker, writer, and chaplain. With nearly two decades of experience in public speaking, teaching, and ministry, he's committed to creating meaningful and memorable ceremonies that honor life's important moments. Stephen is a graduate of Hope International University, where he has a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and a master's degree in Ministry. Stephen has also done graduate work at Mount Saint Mary's University and Cal State San Bernardino. Stephen is an Associate Pastor at First Christian Church in Huntington Beach, where he regularly teaches and preaches. He also works in Palliative and Hospice Care, providing spiritual counsel and care to patients and their families. Stephen has been married to Marissa for fifteen years. He and his family live in Orange County, CA.
